About ANF
Atlanta Neuroscience Foundation was born out of an ongoing collaboration between Tanner Health System and the Atlanta Neuroscience Institute. This partnership began as an effort to bring neurological patient-centered care to rural Georgians through Tanner’s multiple medical centers. ANI physicians brought their expertise to Tanner’s clinics, Tanner supported the Infusion Therapy Center at ANI, and their personnel collaborated and partnered on key initiatives. Tanner Foundation, led by Brian Dill, and ANI, led by Dr. Bill Stuart, saw an opportunity to enhance the reach of neurological care being offered by combining the strengths of their respective organizations.
With support from both organizations, Atlanta Neuroscience Foundation philanthropically supports and grows neurological programs, research projects, and quality-of-life patient care throughout Georgia, and beyond.
Our Values
At ANF we take our responsibility to our donors, our community, and our constituents seriously. In developing and deploying funds and other resources we commit to the following values to inform our decisions and guide our behavior:
- Compassion. We’re constantly listening to our patients and looking for new ways to help improve lives and reduce financial and emotional burdens on everyone touched by neurological disorders.
- Education. We’re dedicated to empowering our communities by learning and sharing resources that can change lives and improve outcomes.
- Tenacity. We’re tireless and relentless in our efforts to find creative ways to fund research, generate broad public support, and give voice to the needs of the communities we serve.
- Integrity. We’re committed to being exemplary stewards of the resources entrusted to us, and we’re transparent about how, when, and where we allocate them.
- Inclusion. We prioritize action over intention in our commitment to reducing disparities in healthcare and making it affordable and accessible for all.
